About Dillberry Lake

Dillberry Lake Provincial Park is located about 43km north of Provost, Alberta along Highway 17. The park actually spans over several lakes with the biggest ones being Killarney Lake, Leane Lake, and Dillberry Lake. The park takes up about 12.6km2 and was created in 1957. The Lake is right on the Alberta/Saskatchewan border.

Summer at Dillberry Lake

Summertime at Dillberry Lake Provincial Park is very much focused on the lake itself. There are beaches in both the day use area and the campground for swimmers to cool off on those hot summer days. Canoeing, kayaking, and sailing are popular activities in the park. Fisherman and thrill seekers can be found with their motor boats either towing a fishing line or water skiing. These lakes are also good bird watching spots since Dillberry Lake is an important bird area.

On land, there is camping, geocaching, and hiking in the summertime.

Winter at Dillberry Lake

In the winter, Dillberry Lake is popular for ice fishing, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing – although the ski trails are ungroomed.
