Summer at Rochon Sands
Rochon Sands Provincial Park is located on the shores of Buffalo Lake and this plays a large role in the activities in the park. Swimmers can enjoy a beach in the park and boaters can enjoy the large lake (although there is a 10km/h speed limit within 30m of the shores to prevent erosion). Water skiing, sailing, and wind surfing are popular activities on Buffalo Lake. For canoers and kayakers, there is plenty of bird watching opportunities. The lake is good for fishing and wildlife viewing as well.
On land, there is camping, group camping, geocaching, and hiking opportunities in the park.
Winter at Rochon Sands
